The game between BC Kalev/Cramo and Jurmala started off tight as the score was 10:10 at the halfway point in the first quarter, despite Kalev managing to go on a 6:0 run, Jurmala immediately responded with a 9:0 run of their own led by the legendary Kaspars Kambala who game on from the bench. The game was tight going into the half-time break.
Five minutes into the second half, Kalev/Cramo was leading 49:41 but thanks to huge performance by Kambala, they cut down the deficit to a single point 51:52. In the last quarter Jurmala tried their hardest to stay in the game, but weren’t able to keep up with the visitors and Kalev/Cramo took a hard fought 15th win of the season.
Janari Jõesaar finished with 16 points, Mirkovic added 13 points and 7 rebounds, while Lynch, Kitsing and Salash all finished with 10 points.
Kaspars Kambala who finished his basketball career after the game had a nice outro – scoring a game high 20 points to go with 6 rebounds. Lauris Blaus had 12 points.
