Kalev set a new record and took an obligatory win

Kalev/Cramo made a big step towards their first ever VTB play-off participation as they defeated Polish club Zielona Gora 117:100 (69:42). Thats their highest scoring game of the season in VTB.

Led by coach Donaldas Kairys, Kalev started wonderful and took the reigns in the couple of first minutes and got a big 31:18 win in the first quarter and by half-time had already scored 69 (!) points. Arnett Moultrie was on fire in the first half as he finished with 17 points and 5 rebounds.

Second half was keeping the lead and not letting the game out of control as Gora tried to fight back but couldn’t get close enough.

Kalev who shot 48% from behind the arc had multiple players in double-digits as Moultrie finished with 30, Wroten 26, Lewis 16, Mirkovic 13 and Kitsing with 12 points. For the home side, Darko Planinic had 14 points.

Kalev now has 10 wins and 11 losses which gives them the eight spot forn now. Chaser Saratov hasĀ  8 wins and 13 losses while both teams have 5 games left.
