Catastrophic first quarter decided the game

Kalev/Cramo comes back from Krasnador being down 0:2 in their VTB quarter-final series against Kuban after admitting a 84:108 (33:59) defeat by the hosts.

The second game of the series was decided in the first 10 minutes, as Unics showed remarkable game and won the first quarter 40:13 (!). Kazan made almost every shot they took and we weren’t able to convert anything. This was the worst quarter of the season for the Estonian side and the last 30 minutes were just finishing the game, Kalev tried to climb back but the closest they got were 20 points.

Former Madrid Real and New York Knicks player Maurice Ndour finished with 23 points and 12 rebounds for Unics, Errick McCollum finished with 16 points while Melvin Ejim had 12 points. For Kalev/Cramo, Arnett Moultrie had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, Mirkovic added 14 points.

The third game of the series will be held at Kalevi Spordihall on 08.05.
