BC Kalev/Cramo brings in speed and scoring in the guard department as they add 25-year old and 175cm point guard Marcus Keene.
Keene, who is born in Germany, made his way to the top of Warren High School all-time scoring list but managed to get only one Division I offer, which he accepted. He played for Youngstown State University for two seasons until after which he decided to move to Central Michigan where he got the chance to dominate.
Out of nowhere in 2016/17 Keene rose in the ranks in USA as he was the leading scorer in all of division 1 as he averaged 36.8 minutes, 30 points, 4.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds which made him a candidate for the John R. Wooden award.
After a superb season, Keene went undrafted and tried out for Washington Wizards in the Summer league, where he averaged 11.3 points in 16.8 minutes but did not manage to secure a contract. Which led Keene to Italy where he played for Cagliari Dinamo Academy in Serie A2.
In his last seasons, Keene has travelled around as he has played for Memphis Hustle in the G-League, KCC Egis in Korea and Yulon Luxgen Dinos in Taiwan.
