After a short National Team break, BC Kalev/Cramo continued their season with a game against Pärnu Sadam in Alexela Basketball League. Pärnu, who had won three of their eight games so far showed great grit and pushed the 6-0 table leaders all game long.
In Donaldas Kairys first game as the head coach the team started uncertain with their play and the hosts took the first quarter 20:17. With the support of their home crowd Pärnu Sadam did not let the league leaders to be comfortable and went into the half-time break with a 41:38 lead.
With a good start in the second half, BC Kalev/Cramo took a two point lead with four minutes to go in the third quarter but Pärnu did not surrender and going into the fourth reclaimed a four point lead.
Fourth Period started with Isaiah Briscoe taking over the game with great drives, passes and getting to the line, it was a first Estonian League game for Briscoe as well who finished with 26 points. In the end, Pärnu was broken and a 87:78 win left BC Kalev/Cramo still undefeated in Estonian League.
On Monday, BC Kalev/Cramo will face reigning VTB champion Moscow CSKA.
