First loss in Estonian league

BC Kalev/Cramo faced their first loss at Alexela KML as they were defeated 73:75 by BC Tartu.

This was the 100th game against each other since the team has been named BC Kalev/Cramo from 2005/06. From 99 games we have been on the winning side 58 times against their 41 wins.

First three quarters were very tightly contested and didn’t give a big lead to neither side but things started happening with three minutes to go in the game as Tartu grew their lead to eight points. And after rallying from behind and erasing the deficit to just two points and a chance to win it or take it to over-time Briscoes driving shot couldn’t find the basket and a hard but teachable loss.

Cedric Simmons had a huge double-double today with 20 points and 12 rebounds while Tartu had both Kitsing and Cook playing great as they ended with 16 points each.

Next game will see BC Kalev/Cramo hosting the VTB league leader BC Unics at Saku Suurhall on Monday at 19.00!
