BC Kalev/Cramo announced today the signing of american guard Silas Melson. The 193cm and 24-year old guard played for Limbourg United in Belgium last season.
After attending high school in Portland, Silas went on to play four years in the university of Gonzaga in NCAA D1 developing his game and stats year by year. In his final college year he played 30.7 minutes in 36 games where he averaged 9.2 points, 3 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
He started his European career in Greece where he played for Lavrio in 2018/19 where after 9 games, he left to Israel to play for Be’er Sheva Hapoel. In 2019/20 he signed to play in Poland for Polpharma but left after the pre-season and he joined Finnish team Koivot where he averaged 20.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in 30 minutes.
Last season Melson played in Belgium top division for Limbourg United, in 22 regular season and 3 play-off games he averaged 30 minutes, 17 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
BC Kalev/Cramo now has 7 players signed, as Kregor Hermet, Tanel Kurbas, Martin Dorbek, Rauno Nurger, Georg Kask and Marcis Vitols have signed for 2020/21.
