BC Kalev/Cramo strengthened their front-court by adding 27-year old and 206 cm big man Kamari Murphy to their roster.
Murphy grew up in New York and attended Oklahoma State University for two years before relocating to University of Miami to finish his NCAA career. In his final season with Miami the forward averaged 6.9 points and 7.2 rebounds in 31 games.
Going undrafted in the 2017 NBA draft he was given a NBA Summer League roster spot for the Brooklyn Nets but did not manage to earn a guaranteed contract. He then joined Long Island Nets where he averaged 10.4 points and 7.3 rebounds in 21 minutes in 50 games.
He then went on to play in Europe as he signed to play in Belgium to play for Oostende but due to an injury did not play for the team and returned to play in the G-League. Next season he managed to secure a contract with Rasta Vechta to play in Germany in the top division and in Basketball Champions League and after a solid season until COVID hit he secured a contract with Frankfurt Skyliners where he played last season.
